Karen Mendoza is a native of the Vail Valley and a dedicated CPA with a passion for helping clients navigate complex financial matters with clarity and confidence. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder, focusing on Accounting and Real Estate. With over a decade of experience advising international real estate investors in the Valley, Karen excels at guiding clients through tax strategies and planning opportunities. Fluent in Spanish, she provides specialized services in financial statements, budgeting, tax return preparation, cash flow analysis, and business consulting. Karen is passionate about empowering her clients with knowledge, breaking down complicated tax codes into clear, actionable insights. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of her professional life, Karen is married and welcomed her first child, a baby boy, in January 2020. She enjoys spending her free time reading, hiking Colorado’s trails, and creating memories with her family.
